Swarovski Spectra crystals are high quality, optically pure crystals but they lack the brilliance you can get with the STRASS crystal. This is because the STRASS range contain up to 32% lead. The lead content is a key factor in creating spectacular rainbow prism effects.

The crystal cascades and spirals all have either a Strass or Spectra crystal at the bottom - the other crystals are mainly Swarovski but also from other manufacturers depending on the colour.
How to Hang Your Crystals
It is best to hang your crystals in the middle of the window. You can insert a small hook or pin in the window frame and also use fishing line, strong clear thread or tigers tail to get the crystal to hang at the best height in the window.
It is best if the crystals do not touch the glass. We do not recommend using window suckers with crystals, (unless the crystal is really small, like the small guardian angel crystals)as you may find that through time invariably the crystal will come crashing down and get damaged.
